Orbot Stool
Orbot is a stool fabricated entirely from CNC-cuts of 18mm plywood, assembled without glue, screws, or nails, and within a maximum size of 400x400x400mm.
Leveraging the precision of CNC fabrication, I created a stool that combines functional stability with aesthetic strike. The design features concentric circles that appear to float, adding lightness and complexity. To balance this, I chose chunky, orthogonal legs for a contrasting sense of solidity.
This interplay between delicate and bold elements creates a unique harmony, making the stool both functional and visually pleasing.
